On Wednesday, in the morning, at Government House, students from Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Primary School Darra visited for a guided tour of the House and gardens. 

Following, at Farnborough International Exhibition and Conference Centre, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM and Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD attended the Farnborough International Air Show 2024 and met with representatives from GE Aerospace, Hypersonix and KPMG, and BAE Systems. 

In the evening, at the Sofitel London St James, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo hosted a Dinner in recognition of inspiring Queenslanders, and the Governor addressed guests. Guests included: Mr Warren Bartlett; Mr Paul Kelly; Dr Georgia Richards; Mr James Patterson; Dr Peter Riddles; Ms Colleen Gao; Mr Matt Buntine; Ms Penelope Dudley; Dr Kathryn Woodward; Mr Wayne Brown; Mr David Camerlengo; Ms Sarah Tisdall; Ms Laura Mulherin; and Ms Yolande Yorke.
