On Saturday, in the morning, at the Royal International Convention Centre, Bowen Hills, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM attended the RSL Queensland State Congress Opening Ceremony and the Governor laid a wreath and addressed guests.

 

In the afternoon, at Philip Bacon Galleries, Fortitude Valley, Her Excellency and Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD attended the opening of exhibitions 'Margaret Olley - 100 Years' and 'John Honeywill'.

 

In the evening, at the Queensland Performing Arts Centre, South Brisbane, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo attended the Queensland Symphony Orchestra performance of ‘QSO Favourites’.
