In the morning, at the Queen Elizabeth II Courts of Law, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC attended the 2014 Supreme Court Breakfast for White Ribbon Day.

In the afternoon, at Government House, the Governor hosted at lunch Mr Malcolm Hazell CVO AM and Mr Michael Klug AM, and then received Consul-General of Japan to Queensland, Ms Yoko Yanagisawa.

In the evening, at Government House, the Governor and Mrs Kaye de Jersey hosted a dinner for Australian Official Secretaries. Guests included: Mr Mark Fraser LVO OAM; Mr Brian Davies Esq LVO; Ms Carol Buckley MVO; Mr David Owen; Mr Ritchie Hollands; Mr David Blenheim; Mr Damian O'Shea; Air Commodore Mark Gower OAM and Mrs Julie Gower; and Ms Cecily Pearson and Mr Trevor Farrell OAM.
