On Wednesday, in the morning, at Spinal Life Australia, Woolloongabba, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC attended the World Polio Day symposium, and the Governor officially opened the symposium, and addressed guests.

Following, at Government House, His Excellency greeted members of the National Seniors Australia Warwick Branch visiting for morning tea and a guided tour of the House and gardens.

In the afternoon, at St John’s Cathedral, Brisbane City, representing His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales, His Excellency attended a memorial service for Mr Michael Collins Persse MVO OAM, and the Governor addressed guests on behalf of HRH.

Following, at Government House, His Excellency and Mrs Kaye de Jersey hosted a reception in honour of the 2019 Queensland Music Festival, and the Governor addressed guests.
