On Tuesday, in the morning, at Government House, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM signed a Message for a Bill. 

Following, at Government House, Her Excellency hosted Rhodes Scholarship interviews, and announced the 2024 Rhodes Scholar Elect, Mr Jeremy Hunt.   

In the afternoon, at Government House, Her Excellency and Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD hosted a reception in support of Queensland Academy of Arts and Sciences, and the Governor addressed guests.

In the evening, at Queensland Performing Arts Centre, South Brisbane, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo attended The Australian Ballet’s opening night performance of ‘Swan Lake’.
