On Thursday, in the morning, at 1 William Street, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM presided over a meeting of the Executive Council.

In the afternoon, at Government House, Her Excellency greeted members of the Probus Club of Wynnum Manly for a guided tour of the House and Gardens. 

Following, at Government House, Her Excellency and Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD hosted a Reception in support of Book Week and the Governor addressed guests.

In the evening, at Government House, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo hosted a dinner in support of Eco Energy World and addressed guests. The guests included: The Honourable Cameron Dick MP, Mr Richard Watson,
