On Thursday, in the afternoon, at Parliament House, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC presided at a meeting of the Executive Council.

Following, at Government House, His Excellency and Mrs Kaye de Jersey hosted an afternoon reception in support of the National Archives of Australia Advisory Council, and the Governor addressed guests.

In the evening, at the Sofitel, Brisbane City, His Excellency attended the Australia China Business Council's Chinese New Year Dinner, and the Governor addressed guests.
