On Monday, in the morning, at the Wellcome Trust, London, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM and Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD toured the facility and received briefings from the Chair of the Board of Governors, the Wellcome Trust, the Honourable Professor Julia Gillard; Head of Research and Funding Equity, Dr Diego Baptista; Head of Data for Science and Health, Mr Tariq Khokar; Director of Climate and Health, Professor Alan Dangour; and Director of Mental Health, Professor Miranda Wolpert MBE.

In the afternoon, at Marlborough House, London, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo were received by the Secretary-General of the Commonwealth, the Right Honourable Patricia Scotland QC.

Following, at The Queen’s Gallery, Buckingham Palace, London, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo viewed the ‘Japan: Courts and Culture Exhibition’ hosted by Assistant Curator of Non-European Works of Art, The Royal Collection Trust, Ms Rachel Peat.

In the evening, at the Royal Automobile Club, London, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo hosted a dinner in support of Vice-Regal Patronage organisations, and the Governor addressed guests.
