On Tuesday, in the afternoon, at Government House, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM greeted members of the public visiting for a guided tour of the gardens. 

In the evening, at Government House, Her Excellency and Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD hosted a dinner in support of Queensland University Chancellors and the Governor addressed guests.
