On Thursday, in the morning, at Our Lady of Victories Church, Bowen Hills, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM was represented by Senior Sergeant Melanie Wilkins APM at the Funeral Mass for former Queensland Police Commissioner, Mr James (Jim) O’Sullivan AC APM and laid a wreath. 

In the afternoon, at 1 William Street, Brisbane City, the Acting Governor of Queensland, the Honourable Chief Justice Helen Bowskill, presided at a meeting of the Executive Council.   

Following, Her Excellency and Professor Graeme Nimo RFD departed the United Kingdom for Official Travel to France.
