On Saturday, in the morning, at Tent Hill Lower State School, Lower Tent Hill, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM attended the school’s 150 Year Celebration, and the Governor addressed guests.  

In the afternoon, at Nissan Arena, Mt Gravatt, Her Excellency and Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD attended the Suncorp Super Netball match between the Queensland Firebirds and Sunshine Coast Lightning.
