On Tuesday, in the morning, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC departed Government House for official travel to Rockhampton, Blackwater and Emerald.

Following, at Council Chambers, Rockhampton, His Excellency received a briefing from Rockhampton Regional Council representatives.

Following, at Wandal, Rockhampton, His Excellency visited St Joseph’s School Wandal, and addressed students and read a book.

In the afternoon, at Dingles Café and Bar, Rockhampton, His Excellency hosted a meet and greet with Patronages and Community organisations.

Following, at Blackwater International Coal Centre, Blackwater His Excellency hosted a reception in support of the Blackwater community, and addressed guests.

In the evening, at 21 Doon, Blackwater, His Excellency received, over a working dinner, Central Highlands Regional Council, Mayor, Cr Kerry Hayes, Deputy Mayor, Cr Christine Rolfe, Cr Charlie Brimblecombe, Cr Anne Carpenter, Cr Natalie Curtis, Cr Gai Sypher, and Chief Executive Officer, Scott Mason
