On Thursday, in the morning, at Government House, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM and Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD received incoming Consul-General of Japan Mr Gomakubo Junji and Senior Advisor – Political and Economic Affairs, Consulate Office, Mr Andrew Carter.

 

Following, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo hosted a morning tea in support of 30 years of the Cancer Council's Australia's Biggest Morning Tea in Queensland, and the Governor addressed guests. 

 

In the afternoon, at Parliament House, Her Excellency presided at a meeting of the Executive Council.
