On Saturday, in the morning, His Excellency the Administrator ceased duty as Administrator of the Government of the Commonwealth of Australia and resumed duty as Governor or Queensland, and the Honourable Justice John Muir ceased duty as Acting Governor.

In the evening, at the Queensland Performing Arts Centre, the Governor attended the Queensland Symphony Orchestra performance “Maestro Concert: Russian Extravaganza - The Showstopper 1812 Overture”.
