On Thursday, in the morning, at Government House, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC received the Premier of Queensland and Minister for Trade, the Honourable Annastacia Palaszczuk MP.

Following, at Government House, His Excellency received the Deputy Clerk of the Parliament, Mr Michael Ries, for the presentation of two Bills for Assent.

Following, at 1 William Street, His Excellency presided at a special meeting of the Executive Council.

In the afternoon, at Government House, in the presence of Her Royal Highness Princess Dina Mired of Jordan, His Excellency and Mrs Kaye de Jersey hosted a reception in support of the Union of International Cancer Control, and the Governor addressed guests.
