On Friday, in the morning, at Government House, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC and Mrs Kaye de Jersey hosted an Investiture Ceremony for recipients of Australian honours and awards announced in the 2019 Australia Day and 2019 Queen’s Birthday Honours Lists, and Australian Bravery Decorations announced in August 2018 and March 2019, and the Governor addressed guests.

In the afternoon, at Government House, His Excellency and Mrs de Jersey hosted an Investiture Ceremony for recipients of Australian honours and awards announced in the 2019 Australia Day and 2019 Queen’s Birthday Honours lists, and the Governor addressed guests.

In the evening, at Government House, His Excellency signed the proclamation resuming administration of the Government of the State of Queensland.
