In the morning, at Government House, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC, greeted students and staff from Ilfracombe, Muttaburra and Windorah State Schools, Central West Queensland.

Also in the morning, at Parliament House, Brisbane, Commander Dominic Katter RANR, Honorary Aide-de-Camp, delivered a Message from the Governor to the Legislative Assembly regarding the assent to certain Bills.
