On Friday, in the afternoon, at Government House, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM hosted an afternoon tea for the Girl Guides Queensland Annual Awards presentation and the Governor addressed guests.

In the evening, at the Queensland Club, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo attended a dinner in the Governor's honour and the Governor addressed guests.
