On Friday, in the morning, at Government House, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC received the Premier of Queensland and Minister for Trade, the Honourable Annastacia Palaszczuk MP.

In the evening, at Hamilton, His Excellency and Mrs Kaye de Jersey attended a reception in celebration of the birthday of His Majesty the Emperor of Japan, and the Governor addressed guests.
