On Friday, in the afternoon, at the Olympic Family Hotel, Paris, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM and Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD attended the Paris 2024 Olympics Welcome Reception hosted by the International Olympic Committee and the Brisbane 2032 Organising Committee.

In the evening, at the Olympic precinct by the Eiffel Tower, Paris, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo attended the Paris 2024 Summer Olympic Games Opening Ceremony.
