On Tuesday, in the morning, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC departed Government House for official travel to Monto.

Following, at the North Burnett Regional Council Monto Administration Office, Monto, His Excellency received a briefing from Council representatives.

Following, at the Monto Community Hall, Monto, His Excellency hosted a lunch in support of the North Burnett community, and the Governor addressed guests.

In the afternoon, at Monto, His Excellency undertook a walking tour of Newton Street, and the Governor called on local business owners.

Following, at the Monto Community Hall, Monto, His Excellency attended a combined schools assembly with representatives from Monto State High School, Monto State School, St Therese’s Catholic Primary School, Mulgildie State School and Abercorn State School, and the Governor presented leadership badges to students from Mulgildie State School, and addressed students and guests.

Following, His Excellency returned to Government House following official travel to Monto.
