On Wednesday, in the morning, at Blackwater Civic Centre, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC received a briefing from Central Highlands Regional Council representatives.
Following, at Rotary Park, Blackwater, His Excellency, officially unveiled the Red Bench to raise awareness for domestic and family violence and addressed guests and unveiled a plaque.
Following, at Blackwater, His Excellency visited Blackwater North State School, and addressed students.
In the afternoon, at Council Chambers, Emerald, His Excellency received, over a working lunch, Mayor, Central Highlands Regional Council, Cr Kerry Hayes.
Following, at Emerald, His Excellency toured the Emerald Art Gallery, Sixteen leg exhibition.
Following, at Emerald, His Excellency officially renamed the BUSHkids Centre in Emerald to the Leslie Wilson Outback Centre, addressed guests and unveiled a plaque.
Following, His Excellency returned to Government House following official travel to Rockhampton, Blackwater and Emerald.
