On Sunday, in the afternoon, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM and Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD returned to Government House from Official Travel to Cairns Regional Council, Mareeba Shire Council and Douglas Shire Council. 

Following, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo departed Queensland for official travel to the People’s Republic of China and the Honourable Chief Justice Helen Bowskill assumed duty as Acting Governor of Queensland.
