On Tuesday, in the morning at Government House, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM greeted students from Applethorpe State School visiting for a guided tour of the House and gardens. 

Following, in the afternoon, at Government House, Her Excellency greeted members of the public visiting for a guided tour of the House and gardens. 

Following at Government House, Her Excellency and Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD received the Premier of Queensland the Honourable David Crisafulli MP and Deputy Premier the Honourable Jarrod Bleijie MP; Members of the Queensland Executive Council; Speaker of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland, the Honourable Patrick Weir MP; other members of the 58th Queensland Parliament; Clerk of the Parliament, Mr Neil Laurie; Sergeant-at-Arms, Mr Andrew Hawkins; and guests of the Speaker for the formal presentation of the Speaker to the Governor. 

In the evening, at Government House, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo hosted a Reception in support of the Wesley Research Institute’s 30th Birthday, and the Governor addressed guests.
