On Thursday, in the morning, in Singapore, at the Residence of the Australian High Commissioner to Singapore, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC attended a Queensland Investor Roundtable promoting Queensland opportunities including the Gold Coast Health and Knowledge Precinct, and addressed guests.

In the afternoon, the Governor met with the Singaporean Senior Minister of State, Ministry of Defence and Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Dr Mohamad Maliki Bin Osman.

In the evening, the Governor and Mrs de Jersey attended the Queen’s Baton Relay Reception, highlighting Queensland as a premier trade, investment and tourism destination and addressed guests.

Also in the afternoon, in Brisbane, at Parliament House, the Acting Governor, the Chief Justice of Queensland, the Honourable Justice Catherine Holmes, presided at a meeting of the Executive Council.
