On Wednesday, in the morning, at Government House, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM greeted members of Australian Decorative and Fine Arts Societies (ADFAS) visiting for a guided tour of the House and Gardens.

In the afternoon, at Government House, Her Excellency and Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD hosted a Reception in support of Children’s Week, and the Governor addressed guests.

In the evening, at Government House, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo hosted a Pride in Queensland Dinner, and the Governor addressed guests. Guests included: Mr John Kotzas AM and Mrs Jano Kotzas; Ms Margot McKinney OAM and Mr Peter Kedwell; Mr Wayne Gerard and Mrs Andrea Gerard; Mr Peter Brown and Mrs Nevenka Brown; Mr Joe Brumm and Mrs Suzy Brumm; Ms Bethany Cordwell and Ms Kate Cordwell; Ms Courtney Gibson; Ms Liz Golding and Mr Andrew Reid; Mr David Hinchliffe; Ms Sally Trestrail; Ms Yolande Yorke and Dr Ingrid Tall.
