On Thursday, in the afternoon, at Government House, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC greeted students from the Port Curtis Road State School, who were visiting for a guided tour of the House and gardens and afternoon tea.

Following, the Governor and Mrs Kaye de Jersey hosted an Afternoon Reception in recognition of outstanding Queensland contributors, where the Governor addressed guests.
