On Saturday, in the morning, at the Jam Corner, Townsville, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC received Colonel Commandant, Royal Queensland Regiment, Brigadier Bruce Scott CSC, ADC.

Following, at Maritime Safety Queensland, Townsville, His Excellency visited the Reef and Torres Strait Vessel Traffic Service for a briefing.

Following, at Townsville Hospital, Townsville, His Excellency and Mrs Kaye de Jersey attended a Private Investiture Ceremony for Major Francis Roy Radford OAM CSC (Ret’d), and the Governor officiated and addressed guests.

In the evening, at the Townsville Civic Theatre, His Excellency and Mrs de Jersey attended the Australian Festival of Chamber Music Governor’s Gala.
