On Thursday, in the morning, at Royal Queensland Art Society Gold Coast Gallery, Broadbeach, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM toured the gallery and met with staff and volunteers. 

Following, at the Queensland Korean War Memorial, Broadbeach, Her Excellency attend the Surfers Paradise RSL Sub-Branch 70th Anniversary of the Korean War Armistice and the Governor addressed guests and laid the first wreath.

In the afternoon, at Queensland University of Technology Gardens Point Campus, Brisbane, Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD attended the launch of the Micro-Folie Project.

Following, at 1 William Street, Her Excellency presided at a meeting of Executive Council.

In the evening, at Suncorp Stadium, Milton, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo attended the FIFA Women’s World Cup Game – Australia v Nigeria.
