On Tuesday, in the morning, at Brisbane City Hall, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC attended the announcement of the Children’s Book Council of Australia Book of the Year Shortlist, and addressed guests.

In the afternoon, at Government House, the Governor and Mrs Kaye de Jersey hosted a Reception for members of the Queensland Cruising Yacht Club to mark the 70th Anniversary of the Brisbane to Gladstone Yacht Race, and the Governor addressed guests.
