On Wednesday, in the morning, at St John’s Cathedral, Brisbane City, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM attended the annual Lady Day Service celebrating The Feast of The Annunciation to the Blessed Virgin Mary for Anglican Mothers Union Australia, Diocese of Brisbane. 

Following, at Government House, Her Excellency greeted members of Fezzy's Professional Care visiting for a guided tour of the House and gardens.  

In the afternoon, at Government House, Her Excellency and Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD received the Ambassador of Türkiye, His Excellency Mr Ufuk Gezer and Honorary Consul of Türkiye, Mr Turgut Manli. 

In the evening, at Government House, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo hosted a dinner in support of The Returned & Services League of Australia Queensland Branch, and the Governor addressed guests. Guests included: Major General Stephen Day DSC AM; Mrs Wendy Taylor; Mr Tony Orchard; Mr Merv Brown OAM; Mr Stephen Adams; Ms Ann Bramwell; Mr Allan Coenik; Mr Edward Dahlheimer; Mr Phillip Hunter; Mr Phillip Luzzi; Ms Cherisa Jane Pearce; Ms Janet Pranskunas; Mr Hugh Polson; Mr Paul Rogers; Mr Gregory Watt; Mr Kenneth Willoughby; Ms Katie Maloney; Mr John Stock; Mr Scott Allen and Dr Beth Veivers.
