On Thursday, in the morning, at Government House, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM hosted a breakfast in support of Regional Queensland.

Following, at Government House, Her Excellency and Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD received Ambassador of Romania to Australia, His Excellency Mr Radu Gabriel Safta and Honorary Consul of Romania in Queensland, Mr Ciprian Popescu.

Following, at Government House, Her Excellency presided over a meeting of the Executive Council.

In the afternoon, at Government House, Her Excellency hosted a luncheon for members of the Executive Council.

In the evening, at Bille Brown Theatre, South Brisbane, Her Excellency  attended Queensland Theatre’s opening night performance of 'Calamity Jane'.
