On Friday, in the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young PSM and Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD departed Government House for official travel to Sunshine Coast Regional Council.

Following, at Daniel House, Palmwoods, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo toured the facilities and met with staff.

Following, at Maleny Soldiers Memorial Hospital, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo toured the facilities and met with staff.

In the afternoon, at Mary Cairncross Scenic Reserve Rainforest Discovery Centre, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo toured the Rainforest Discovery Centre and rainforest.   

Following, at Maleny Showgrounds, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo attended the opening of the 100^th Anniversary of the Maleny Show Society and 84^th Maleny Show, met with vendors and the Governor addressed the guests.

In the evening, at Government House, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo returned from official travel to Sunshine Coast Regional Council.

Following, at Government House, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo hosted a dinner in honour of the HySupply delegation and the Governor addressed the guests. The guests included: The Honourable Bettina Stark-Watzinger, The Honourable Leanne Linard MP, Dr. Volker Rieke, Dr. Stefan Kaufmann, Professor Dr. Robert Schlögl, Mr Holger Lösch, Dr Mark Jacobs, Mr Axel Zeidler, Professor Michael Rosemann, Professor Margaret Shiel AO, Professor Carolyn Evans, Professor Christopher Barner-Kowollik,  Professor Lee Smith,  Professor Mark Blows, Professor Fabienne Mackay, Mr Richard Watson, Mr Chris Shaw, Mrs Kate Hasting and Mr Bob Hastings APM.
