On Saturday, in the morning, at Soldiers’ Memorial Hall, Ipswich, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young PSM and Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD attended the centenary celebrations for the Hall, and Her Excellency addressed guests and unveiled a plaque.

In the afternoon, at the University of Queensland, St Lucia, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo RFD attended the commissioning of Officers of the Queensland University Regiment, and Her Excellency addressed guests, presented certificates and attended a promotion ceremony.
