On Thursday, in the morning, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC and Mrs de Jersey visited Longreach School of Distance Education where the Governor made an on-air address to students.

Following, the Governor and Mrs de Jersey departed Longreach for Jundah.

Following, at the Barcoo Shire Council Chambers, Jundah, the Governor and Mrs de Jersey received a briefing from Council representatives, and then attended a community morning tea where His Excellency addressed guests. 

Following, the Governor and Mrs de Jersey visited the Jundah Primary Health Centre, met staff and toured the facility.

Following, the Governor and Mrs de Jersey visited the Jundah State School where His Excellency addressed guests, before departing for Windorah.

In the afternoon, at the Windorah Community Centre, Windorah, the Governor and Mrs de Jersey attended a community luncheon where His Excellency addressed guests.

Following, the Governor and Mrs de Jersey visited Windorah State School where His Excellency addressed guests, before returning to Longreach.

In the evening, at the Longreach Scout Den, the Governor visited the Longreach Scout Group where His Excellency addressed guests and presented awards.
