On Wednesday, in the morning, at Government House, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC CVO signed Messages for a Bill.

Following, at Government House, His Excellency greeted members of Communify Paddington visiting for a guided tour of the House and Gardens.

In the evening, at Government House, His Excellency and Mrs de Jersey hosted a dinner in recognition of Outstanding Queensland Contributors and the Governor addressed guests. Guests included: Mr Chris Freeman AM and Mrs Sue Freeman; Mr Michael Klug AM and Dr Jane Klug; Ms Carolyn de Jersey and Mr Benedict Clarke; Mr David de Jersey QC; Mr Ian Walker and Mrs Heather Walker; Mr Richard Anderson OAM and Mrs Margaret Anderson; Mr Scott Flynn and Mrs Sasha Flynn; Mr Peter Rossi and Mrs Sadie Rossi; Mrs Kate Hastings and Mr Bob Hastings APM; and Ms Yolande Yorke and Dr Ingrid Tall.
