On Wednesday, in the morning, at the Queensland Fire and Emergency Services Disaster Coordination Centre, Kedron, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM, toured the facility, received a briefing on the current bushfire operation in Queensland, and met with staff.

 

Following, at Government House, Her Excellency greeted members of the Gold Coast Antique Auto Club visiting for a guided tour of the house and gardens. 

 

In the afternoon, at Government House, Her Excellency greeted members of the public visiting for a guided tour of the house and gardens.

 

In the evening, at Government House, Her Excellency hosted a reception in support of the 2023 YMCA Queensland Youth Parliament and the Governor addressed guests.
