On Wednesday, in the morning, at Government House, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC greeted members of Probus Club of North Brisbane visiting for a guided tour of the House and gardens.

In the evening, at Government House, His Excellency and Mrs Kaye de Jersey hosted a dinner in support of Regional Queensland, and the Governor addressed guests. Guests included: Cr Lyn McLaughlin; Cr Mark Jamieson and Mrs Lorrell Jamieson; Cr Jack Dempsey and Mrs Christine Dempsey; Cr Ramon Jayo; Cr Paul McVeigh and Mrs Deborah McVeigh; Cr Andrew Willcox and Mrs Raylene Willcox; Cr Teresa Harding and Mr Steven Voll; Cr Sally O’Neil; Cr Angela Toppin; Cr Clare Stewart and Mr Campbell Stewart; Ms Natalie Wilde; Mrs Kate Hastings and Mr Bob Hastings APM; and Ms Yolande Yorke.
