In the morning, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC, greeted students and staff from West End State School.

Following, at Parliament House, Alice Street, the Governor presided at a meeting of the Executive Council.

In the afternoon, at the Queen Elizabeth II Courts of Law, the Governor officially launched the 2014 Brisbane Open House Program.

In the evening, at the Lyric Theatre, Queensland Performing Arts Centre, South Brisbane, the Governor and Mrs Kaye de Jersey attended the Season Opening Night Reception and Performance of ‘Swan Lake’ by the American Ballet Theatre.
