On Wednesday, in the morning, at Government House, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC greeted members of the Labrador Senior Citizens Centre visiting Government House for morning tea and a guided tour of the House and gardens.

In the afternoon, the Governor received the Ambassador of Austria to Australia, His Excellency Dr Bernhard Zimburg; Austrian Trade Commissioner and Consul General (Sydney), Mr Karl Hartleb and Honorary Consul General (Brisbane), Mr Jeremy Charlston.

In the evening, at the Sofitel Hotel, Brisbane, the Governor attended the Australia China Business Council Queensland Chinese New Year Dinner, and addressed guests.
