On Saturday, in the morning, at The Pullman Reef Resort, Cairns, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM hosted Far North Queensland Investiture Ceremonies for the following recipients of Australian Honours and Awards announced in the 2022 Australia Day Honours List, the March 2022 Bravery Announcement and 2022 Queen’s Birthday Honours List: Mrs Lyndell Sellars PSM; Ms Rita Joy Kelly ASM; Mr John Frederick Beare OAM; Warrant Officer Danny Taylor CSM and Mr Kerrod Andrews, Commendation for Brave Conduct.

Following, Her Excellency and Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD returned to Government House from Official travel to Cairns Regional Council.
