On Friday, in the morning, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC and Mrs Kaye de Jersey departed Brisbane for an official visit to Townsville.     

In the evening, at the Townsville Civic Theatre, the Governor and Mrs de Jersey attended the Australian Festival of Chamber Music’s 2017 Opening Night Reception, where His Excellency addressed guests, followed by the Opening Night Concert ‘Beginnings’.
