On Thursday, in the morning, at Ikon Gallery, Birmingham, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM and Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD attended a reception in support of PacificAus Sports.

 

Following, at Government House, Brisbane, members of Queensland Program of Assistance to the Survivors of Torture and Trauma (QPASTT) visited for a guided tour of the House and Gardens.

 

Following, at 1 William Street, the Honourable Chief Justice, Helen Bowskill, Acting Governor, presided over a meeting of the Executive Council.

 

In the afternoon, at the Grand Hotel, Birmingham, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo attended a reception preceding the Official Opening Ceremony of the 2022 Commonwealth Games and were introduced to His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales.

 

In the evening, at Alexander Stadium, Birmingham, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo attended the Official Opening Ceremony of the 2022 Commonwealth Games.
