On Friday, in the morning, at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre, South Brisbane, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM attended the Opening of the Zonta International Convention 2024, and the Governor addressed guests.

In the afternoon, Her Excellency departed Government House for Official Travel to North Burnett Regional Council and Banana Shire Council.

Following, at Monto, Her Excellency visited Monto Hospital and toured the facility and met staff.
