On Wednesday, in the morning, at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC attended the official launch of the Salvation Army’s 2018 Red Shield Appeal for Queensland, and addressed guests.  

Following, at the Queensland University of Technology, Gardens Point campus, the Governor officially opened the Queensland Program of Assistance to Survivors of Torture and Trauma (QPASTT) Symposium, and addressed guests.

In the evening, at RAAF Base Amberley, the Governor and Mrs Kaye de Jersey attended the 2018 Air Force Week Reception, and the Governor addressed guests.
