On Thursday, in the afternoon, at Parliament House, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC presided at a meeting of the Executive Council.

Following, His Excellency commenced duty as Administrator of the Government of the Commonwealth of Australia, and the Honourable Justice Walter Sofronoff assumed duty as Acting Governor of Queensland.

In the evening, at RAAF Base Amberley, His Excellency and Mrs Kaye de Jersey attended a reception for 2019 Air Force Week.
