On Monday, in the morning, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC and Mrs Kaye de Jersey departed Government House for official travel to Thargomindah and Quilpie.

Following, at the Bulloo Shire Council Chambers, the Governor and Mrs de Jersey received a briefing on local issues from the Mayor and Councillors.

Following, at Thargomindah State School, the Governor and Mrs de Jersey visited classrooms and met with students and staff.

Following, at Thargomindah Airport, the Governor, with Mrs de Jersey, officially opened the newly-upgraded airport terminal, where the Governor addressed guests.
