On Thursday, in the morning at Government House, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM signed a Message for a Bill.   

Following, at Parliament House, Her Excellency presided at a meeting of the Executive Council. 

In the evening, at the Queensland Performing Arts Centre, South Brisbane, Her Excellency and Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD attended the Queensland Symphony Orchestra performance of 'Beethoven's Ode to Joy'.
