In the morning, at Government House, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC received the Ambassador of Denmark to Australia, His Excellency Mr Børge Petersen and Mrs Jytte Petersen. 

Also in the morning, at the Civic Centre, Ipswich, Mrs Kaye de Jersey attended the 92nd State Conference of the Queensland Country Women’s Association.

In the afternoon, at Government House, His Excellency hosted a lunch for members of the Queensland Rhodes Scholarship Selection Committee and shortlisted candidates for the Queensland Rhodes Scholarship.

In the evening, at the Queensland Cricketers’ Club, the Governor and Mrs de Jersey attended the annual Queensland Academy of Arts and Sciences Dinner.
