On Wednesday, in the morning, at Government House, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC, Administrator of the Government of the Commonwealth of Australia chaired a meeting of the Queensland Rhodes Scholarship Selection Committee and announced the 2016 Queensland Rhodes Scholar, Ms Harriet Horsfall.

In the afternoon, His Excellency the Administrator and Mrs Kaye de Jersey departed Brisbane for Canberra to undertake Administrator duties.
